Storm Raven WIP

Ok, so I'm working on my Storm Raven(s) now. Well, just one for the time being, but the second one should be pretty quick. I'm not doing too much conversion on my G.I. Joe movie toy... just trying to make it look like its 28mm scale and has the right weapons. Here are some pics so far...

Kommando article posted

Here's a followup for the Kommandos I did back in April. A full article with work in progress shots and a full list of paints I used is up on miniwargaming.com. This was orginally posted to their members area, but is now free to the public (3 months later). I'm interested in the new forgeworld upgrade... so perhaps more Kommandos are in the cards. I used a small mob of them with Snikrot in the 40k tournament that GW hosted and they are a great complement to my 4 deff rolla list :)

Boar Boyz Done

I've finally finished off my unit the new plastic Boar Boyz. I decided to do 15 of them, and it ended up taking me a few weeks (mostly because of school taking up so much time). Anyway, they're done, and I really like how they turned out. I used the GW painting article as a basic guide, but deviated in a few areas. The one disappointing thing is how these guys rank up... or rather, don't rank up. You basically can't get them to go together end to end, so I had to make the movement tray longer. I guess heroic scale is creeping again.

Boar Boyz WIP 2

Here's some more work in progress shots of my Fantasy Orc boar boyz. They have been taking longer than usual for two reasons... there are 15 of them, and school. School is out for the summer though, so they will be finished shortly. Here's some shots of the banner... and other stuff.

I started these guys and am getting close to finishing them. I did the boars first and am working on the riders now.

Old stuff on ebay

I'm clearing out a few old models on ebay right now... all OOP and deamons of Chaos. One Khorne bloodthurster, 6 khorne hounds, and 6 plague bearers. Back in 2nd edition 40k I had a small Chaos army, and this is all that is left of that... and its on ebay.

More Night Goblins WIP

Here's a couple more pictures of my night goblins with purple shields. If you check the archives I've done two other units and colour coordinated them... check the tag "night goblins" for the other two units... although I'll have to do some more to fill out those units. Maybe I'll do some of those unit fillers that GW is slogging these days.

More night goblins... man, it feels like I've got hundreds of these... oh wait, I do. Excellent, because I just picked up my copy of 8th edition today. This unit is 25 night goblins with spears, all from skull pass except the two netters.

Orc Rock Lobber

Here's some pictures of my newly finshed Rock lobber. I added it to a movement tray to make it a little easier to place on the table and help it fit in with all the other square bases.
