Finished Ogre Thundertusk
This guy took a little while due to other committments (outside warhammer), but I think its worth it. Love the model and am happy to have him done. As I mention in the video below I stuck with the same basic paint scheme as the rest of my Ogre army and used my airbrush to do some of the base colours.
Thundertusk WIP 2
Here's some more work in progress shots of the Thundertusk I'm working on. Trying to use all the same colours as the rest of my Ogres, with the addition on the fur and tusks. For the fur I'm doing a golden blond kind of colour and the tusks I'm doing a blue grey (both are Reaper triads straight form the bottle). I think I'm past the hard stuff and now all I have left are highlights and details... the home stretch.
Ogre Thundertusk WIP
Another project that I have on the go is my Ogre Kingdoms Thundertusk. I airbrushed a base coat on the fur last week and I'm done doing highlights on the individual strands now with Reaper Golden Blond. I really like this model, so its jumping the queue a little. Should get back to the Thunderwolves...
