Here's a quick showcase video to go along with the one I made that explains how it was done. A fun model with a relatively easy conversion that makes this update work.

Skaven Grey Seer Tutorial and Guide
Here's the finished Grey Seer as well as the tutorial video and painting guide. To save time I didn't video the base colours or wash step, but they's nothing too interesting happening there. I used the same wash for the while model (Reikland Fleshshade). This was a lot of fun because he was done so fast.
Skaven Grey Seer WIP
Followers of this blog may remember that I made a quick tutorial on how to make the Grey Seer from the Screaming bell a single character. This is good if you make the kit into a plague furnace and have him left over. Well, with the new Skaven coming out I decided to give him a quick paint job. Pretty simple scheme and I'm surprised at how fast I was able to lay down the base colours. Much more fun than all the complicated schemes for 40k (especially my flash gitz).
How to Paint Grukk Face Rippa
And here's the tutorial for Grukk and the other warboss. I don't show much of the badmoon guy, so I suggest checking out the Badmoon shoota boy tutorial.
Oh, and something screwed up with the audio... sorry about that, I think messed up when I recorded it, so I'll have to fix that for next time.
Nice model, although lacking a little personality I think... There was something missing about this guy when compared to the other recent Ork releases. Regardless, cool model and fun to paint.
Mek Gun and Trukk Kitbash (1+1=4)
Here's a tutorial, or walk through on how I made 4 Mek Gunz from the Ork Mek Gun and Ork Trukk boxes. The basic idea is simple, use the Trukk wheels and bits to make gun carriages. I built the Tracktor kannon straight out of the box, and the other three are kitbashes... if you wanted you could mix and match all 4. I'd also recommend using other bits in your collection, but I refrained in the video to keep it simple... with the exception of the Kannon and Zapp gun from the Battle Wagon kit (I figure most Ork collectors will have one or two of those lying around.

Flash Gitz/Nobz Kitbash
Here's the results of my Flash Gitz/Nobz frankenstein project. When the Flash Gitz box came out they were being marketed in the White Dwarf to be interchangable... so I thought I'd give it a try. The first issue is that most of the Flash Gitz bodies have a much wider stance, and don't really fit on a 25mm base. So, I only used the narrow stance Flash Gitz bodies, but used all of the Flash Gitz chests to make the Freebooter nobz.
On the Flash gitz side, the nob chests fit fine with some minor modifications. I was able to get some neat snazz gun poses that were slightly different than the normal Flash Gitz, although not really enough to break up the monotony of that kit.
I left arms off of most of the nobz to wait for the new codex to land... I don't want to build of a mob only to find out that they weren't kitted out correctly.
Looted Wagon Tutorial
With all the talk about Looted Wagons being in/out of the new codex here's some pics of one that I started a while back. There's even a tutorial that I put up on Youtube explaining what I did. Its basically just a Leman Russ with the battle wagon turret and some bits from the stompa kit and other left overs from my bitz box. The turret hole is almost exactly the right size, so it doesn't take much to make the battlewagon one fit.
Skaven Grey Seer Conversion
Here's a quick tutorial showing how I mounted the extra Grey Seer from my Plague Furnace on a 20mm base. I used a piece of cork to get the right angle and replaced the screaming bell handle with a knife from one of the extra clan rat arms I had laying around.
Cypher Conversion
Here's a quick and easy guide showing how to make your own Cypher, the fallen angel, out of a bunch of regular bits. The kitbash is based on a Dark Angels veteran robed body and adds Chaos arms (storm bolter arms from the Chaos vehicle sprue), a Chaos Warriors (WFB) sword and some more space marine and dark angels bits. Its not 100% accurate, but hits the main points and will look good once painted up.
Deathwing Knights Conversion
Here's a video where I show up to make the most out of the Deathwing command squad box. I built the regular command guys and then used the remaining Knight bits along with the Terminators from Assault on Black Reach to make up a squad of Deathwing Knights. I could have done it the other way, but I wanted the Command Squad to have all the ornamental Deathwing bits on them. You could also do this using the Deathwing terminators from Dark Vengeance, just use them as your command squad and build the Knights fully from the box.
Ork Bastion
This is a bit of a repost, but since we're on the fortification topic I thought I'd put these pics and video up again. With the new flyers I think things like this are a great addition to an army that may not have strong defences against them.
Looted Wagon WIP
Here's a project that I've had in my queue for quite some time... a looted tank made from a leman russ. I picked this up a long time ago and finally got around to making it. I've noticed that my how-to videos for Ork conversion get a ton of hits, and since its something I enjoy I figured that was a good reason for this project to get promoted.
The main conversion is the turret from the battle wagon kit with the Kil Kannon from the deff rolla sprue. Otherwise its just bits from my bit box, including lots of pieces from the stompa kit.

Dakkajet Kitbash Painted
Here is the second video showing how I painted this project. I went with a pretty traditional black look with checker patterns. My burna bommer will be red and I'll do a video for it as well.
Dakkajet Conversion Finished
All done and painted. Here are some of the finished pics as well as a video tutorial on how I got there. Feel free to post questions in the comments and I will address them here.
Ork Dakkajet Conversion
Here's the start of my Dakkajet conversion using an F4U Corsair (1:48 scale) and the leftover bits from the Ork kit. I'm using the Corsair as the frame and adding bits on top to make it look Orky. So far I've everything has been from the flyer kit except the prop that I'm using from a Deff Kopta.
Ork Bommer Assembly
Here's the follow up to the unboxing where I show how the assembly goes for the new Ork flyer. I also show the 1:48 scale model I plan on using to make a second flyer with all the extra bits.
Stormtalon Assault Cannon Conversion
Here's some pics of the new Stromtalon I just assembled... and converted the assault cannon from the one it came with to the Ravenwing one. The one it comes with is the same size as the landraider and baal predator one, but I think the landspeeder size is better (they are both skimmers, right?). I'll do a video explaining it soon, but for now here are some pics. This is just to show its possible and fairly easy.
Conversion tutorial: Big Mek with KFF
Here's the finished guy and video of how I did it. This was originally inspired by a post on Dakka Dakka with some different kit bashed Big Meks with Kustom Force fields.
The parts I used included some bits from the battle wagon kit, Leman Russ, Bastion and mek from the loota box. Click through to see the video.

Mek KFF conversion
For my kan wall list I need another Big Mek with KFF, so rather than buy a second copy of the same model I decided to convert one with stuff in my bits box. I found a good thread on dakka dakka that gave me some good ideas and here's what I came up with.
Bits include: nob from AOBR, mek bits from lootas box, battle wagon pieces, bastion do-dads and some imperial guard vehicle what-cha-ma-call-its.
