Most base colours were done with the airbrush, and details were done with layers using a mix of citadel and reaper paints.

Finished Full size X-Men vs Sentinel Chibi diorama
Here's the full size version of the Diorama. Lots of fun details, and a huge project. I took longer because I played with the idea of adding internal lighting.

Mollog's Mob pictures
I just finished these guys up and did a recap video of where I deviated from the Warhammer TV tutorial. For future projects I'll try to record more as I go, but until I get back into a groove this might be all you get. I'm working with a new setup for taking pictures, so I need to work on the consistency a little.

Assassin posts
Here's some direct links to the assassin tutorials I did when I painted up the Assassinorum boxed game. With the new rules coming up in the March White Dwarf I thought I'd make these easier to find.

Finished Slaughter Priest - free white dwarf mini
I managed to get a few more hours and finish this guy up. He's surprisingly large, which the 40mm base kind of hides in the pictures. Anyway, finished up using the paint splatter article, with a few substitutions and change of order. I like how he turned out and if I ever get around to doing the khorne half of the age of sigmar starter set then I'll use the same general paint scheme.
Assassinorum Chaos Finished
Finally, I can say these guys are done. I motored through the 4 assassins relatively quickly, but things slowed down for the rest. I didn't do anything special for the forces of Chaos, so they are similar to my Dark Vengeance guys. For the sake of time I didn't bother filming anything for a tutorial, but because they are basically the same as my dark vengeance guys there are already tutorials for those here:

I'll post some pics of the complete set shortly.
I'm happy with having the box finished since its nice to have something totally done before moving onto the next project (a problem I have).

Callidus Assassin done and tutorial
Finally, finished the last Assassin from the Assassinorum box set. Each one went a little faster than the prevous one, and I'm happy to have them finished. Now I have to finish up all the Chaos guys before I move onto the next project.
Culexus Assasin pics
Here's couple pics of the Culexus Assassin that I just finished painting. The tutorial will be up soon, I just need to record the audio to go along with it. All of the colours are basically the same as the other ones I've done, except the brass colour on the helmet. As a result the tutorials are getting shorter and just showing some of the different bits.
Smaug airbrush tutorial video
Here's a commentary along with the videos I shot while painting this guy. I mostly painted him in a few hour chunks at a time, so it took a lot longer than I had expected. There were a few side projects in the middle (harlequins being one of them), but I'm glad to have him done with the video posted.
I used my new Badger Minitaire paints and was pretty happy with how they performed. I didn't really experience any needle clogs or issues in general, so I'd say they were a success. I still need to work out a process for them because it different than using GW base paints. You have to be aware of the order you put things down so that you can ensure you get nice vibrant colours.

Smaug Finished - Better Pictures
Ok, I think these are better pictures. I took these with my SLR, so they should have plenty of detail... enough to see all my mistakes and short cuts. There are lots.
Smaug Finished
Wow, what a project. I took a few breaks along the way, but he's finally done. I'm sure I could spend a few more months on him, but I think he's complete "enough". Whenever I'm airbrushing there's always the temptation to go back touch things up with a paint brush, but that kind of defeats the point of using the airbrush. I think I learned that lesson with the Skaven Vermin lord I did... at some point you cut yourself off for the sake of your sanity.
Anyway, all that said, I'm quite happy with the results of this guy. Last night was some final highlights on the scales and a little heat treatment to get him to sit perfectly on the base. His legs and hands didn't line up 100%, so I blasted him with a hairdryer to make some small movements. I've got the video all lined up, and will be posting that as soon as I can record some audio.

Harlequins Finished
Had a bit of time last night to finish these guys and gals. All that was left were some final highlights, so it went pretty quickly. Overall all I like the look, but might have preferred some brighter colours to make them stand out more in my Dark Eldar army. Regardless, they painted up nicely, and with only 6 of them were very manageable. I'd like to get some of the skimmers and characters, but I need to finish up Smaug first.
Video tutorial will be coming when I get a chance to record the audio.

Captain Karlaen Showcase
I finished this guy up last night and am working on the tutorial now... but here's a nice showcase of him. I painted him mostly unassembled and as I finished different steps did partial assemblies. This helped get in some of the hard to get areas. His details are very similar to the space hulk terminators, so I suspect that the same is true for the new blood angels terminators (haven't seen them in person yet).
Interrogator-Caplain Finished
Here is a bunch of finished pictures, a walk through video and a list of the paints I used for the Limited Edition Chaplain from the Dark Vengeance starter kit. I'm working on the company master next, then the chosen chaos marines.
Dark Eldar Wyches Finished
Here's the squad of Wyches I was working on... I used all the same colours as the warriors with the addition of the combat drug tubes in blue. I had a chance to practice those on the venom gunners so these went pretty straight forward. There's a little more gold and purple on these guys so they definitely stand out, but fit in with the rest of the army (so far). Paints are at the bottom of this post.
Killa Kanz Finished & How to paint video
Here's the finished video along with pics of the finished Killa Kans. I now have 9 rokkits kans ready to go, and will shortly have a second big mek with KFF for my list. Should be fun.
I first got this idea from Hortworth over at www.microartstudio.com and his Kreig orks here:

Goblin Nasty Skulkers Pics
I just finished painting these guys up for a beat Matt Batrep I'm going to be playing next week at miniwargaming. I really liked the look of these guys when the army book came out and I have a unit of 40 goblins painted already.
I filmed the whole process, and took these pics for the end of the video... it will be posted in the next week or so.

Finecast Marneus Calgar Complete
I just finished this guy, and am in the process of compiling all the video I shot while painting him. I basically followed the GW Masterclass article for Captain Sicarius and improvised a little with Reaper paints. I'm pretty happy with how he turned out and am curious to see how the video works out as well. I used my video painting rig after I finished the base colours, so its a bit harder to do all the details that way. In other words, its awkward and I'm not using my normal lights, so I'm making excuses for some of the blending. Otherwise I'm happy with how he turned out as well as the finecast details.
