Sanguinary Guard preview

Here we go, the second box that assembled for MWG... As per usual, a full article is over at miniwargaming.com. Again, these are fantastic models, but perhaps a little overboard on the "heroic scale" thing. The wrist mounted bolter is a little clunky and seems like it would get in the way of their weapons that are the same size as them... but regardless, they are fantastic models and I can't wait to get them painted. Should be soon, as I already have the death company guys done (will be posted in the next couple days).

Some of the poses are better than others... The ones where both arms are on the weapon seem a bit too crowded. Something neat though, the arms with the angelus bolter have separate hands that are amazingly detailed. There are two open hands that have each finger molded... amazing.
