Island of Blood Swordmasters youtube
Here's the second tutorial... this one for the High Elf Swordmasters. These were the first of the high elves that I painted up, so the later ones will be very similar. Feedback is welcome, and please check out my channel at miniwargaming.com
@Anonymous - kind of... I drybrush the areas that will end up being silver, but some gets on other areas. That's why I do it first, so I can paint over it later.
Curious, you said you sprayed them with a grey spray would you be willing to share what brand and kind of grey spray you used on the swordmaters? By the way the models look great!
Thank you for the information on the Krylon spray! Quick question, if you were going to go with a navy blue or a dark blue what color would you use in place of the blue you used on the video? Just looking for some ideas...
I am just curious, by highlighting with mithril silver do you mean just to drybrush the entire models metallics?

ReplyDeleteI used Krylon indoor/outdoor satin Hyacinth... its a slightly purple grey (very similar to codex grey with a slight purple tinge)
ReplyDeleteThank you Paul for the information, I'll try Krylon spray out! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
