Lamartes Showcase

Here's another showcase video, this time of Lamartes, guardian of the lost.  I painted this guy when he came out with the old codex, and really spent a lot of time on the details.  I think I like how the lenses in his eyes turned out the most.

Imperial Knight Showcase

Here's a showcase video for a Knight I painted when they first came out.  I'm tempted to get some of the forgeworld ones to go along with this an make a Knight army, but I have way too much stuff in my to-do pile to make a purchase like that.

Orc Boar Chariot Conversion showcase

Here's a quick showcase video to go along with the one I made that explains how it was done.  A fun model with a relatively easy conversion that makes this update work.

The Sanguinar Showcase

Here's a showcase of a model I painted a few years back.  This was one of my first major NMM attempts, and probably one of the best. Partly because I had some good reference photos and was willing to spend time working on him.

Here's the post for the tutorial:

Flash Gitz Showcase

Well, I've finally got these guys done.  I'd say that with all the extra colours these guys are similar to bikes or mounted figures in terms of workload.  I'm happy they are done, and have wanted to have impressive models like these ever since the Freebooterz book came out out oh so long ago.

I'll be putting together a video tutorial as usual, but here's a showcase in the meantime.  Baddruck and his ammo runtz were painted up a while ago, but in a similar enough paint scheme.

Skaven Hellpit Abomination Showcase

One of my goals for 2015 is to make more use out of the older stuff I've painted, so an easy way to do that is showcase videos of past projects.  Here's the Hellpit Abomination I painted a few years back.

The painting video post is here:

Captain Karlaen Showcase

I finished this guy up last night and am working on the tutorial now... but here's a nice showcase of him.  I painted him mostly unassembled and as I finished different steps did partial assemblies.  This helped get in some of the hard to get areas.  His details are very similar to the space hulk terminators, so I suspect that the same is true for the new blood angels terminators (haven't seen them in person yet).
