I started off painting by spraying everything black then airbrushed some grey on the edges of the craters and some brown over the dirt. To finish them off I dry brushed some reaper weathered stone on the edges and bestial brown on the dirt. A little static grass and we're all done.

40k Craters
Here's my brief foray into some scenery... I like these craters but don't like how the edges have a tendency to lift because these are vacuum formed... so I glued them down to some MDF and painted everything up. I used gorilla glue, and put in staples while it was drying. After it was dry I pulled the staples out and glued some coffee grounds on to give texture for the dirt.
