More Necrosphinx wip pics

Here's a couple more. I'm basically done the patina finish, unless I change my mind on it. I basically did a reverse highlight with the aqua colours (lightest in the deepest areas). Next I'm drybrushing Scorched brown then finally gold.

Orc and Goblin Rock Lobba

Here's another video version of a painting tutorial, this time for a Rock Lobba. I mounted it on a movement tray (80x100 I think) to make it look nicer.

Orc Boyz video (animosity Orcs)

Here's the latest video released into the public that I've done for miniwargaming.com. Its of a mob of Orc boyz with the addition of the Animosity Orcs. Most of the paints are listed in the video... let me know if you have any questions.

River Trolls Painted

Here's some pics of the new plastic river trolls that I've painted up. They were a lot of a fun to paint up, and they were pretty quick. I mostly used Reaper triads to keep things simple an vibrant. A full list of paints and work in progress pics have been posted over at miniwargaming.com.

Goblin's shields

Today I decided that the goblins were finished enough to add the shields. This turned out a little worse than I had hoped. I initially glued the shields to their forearms thinking that there would be more surface to glue, and they would look more realistic. This turned out to be a mistake because when I tried to rank them all together nothing fit. This added to the challenges I had with the spears meant that nothing would fit. So, I decided to rip them off and glue them on the front of their left hands as shown on the GW site. I'm hoping they will rank up better. The part that sucks is that I'm going to have to touch up the paint on their left arms where the glue is left over.

I still have to paint the skulls on half the shields, finish off the champion, musician and standard bearer.

Night Goblin shaman

Here's my September entry to the Painting death match side challenge over at Miniwargaming.com/forum. Previous entries to this have been my Troll and Big Mek (I'll post pictures of him soon).

I left this to the last minute, so in total I only actually spent about an hour and a half on this model. I started out with a black undercoat.

DIY movement trays

Here's my first stab at DIY movement trays for my WFB orcs and goblins. Its all illustration board and a bit of PVA glue. I've given some a coat of textured spray paint to see how that would look. The ultimate goal is to magnetize them. I think the way I'm going to do that is using a magnetic sheet (from the dollar store, the type for putting things on your fridge) and small magnets in the bases of my guys (stuck on with green stuff).
